Winter Party

It's January, which means it's my company's annual Winter Party. Since I got to be part of the planning, I was happy all went well and we had a full house. It was lovely.

You have to have some fun, even if it is a work party.

We know how to party

After the extreme celebrations for my birthday, I was worn out. A nice low-key affair with two dear friends was a great way to ring in 2009.

It seem unimaginable that a year has come and gone. I don't know how, but the adventures (planned and unplanned) for 2008 went by at a dizzying speed. How does one take inventory of a year like this?

New friends.
Loves gained and lost.
Adventures near and far.
Work - hard work.
An ouch here and there.
Goals attained. New goals set.
Moments long and short but lived.
Fabulous, lovely, life-enriching memories.
